Across America, Let's Make Good Trouble
Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people. Robert Hubbell's newsletter has wonderful inspiration on why we do this.
On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, we’re taking action across the country to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble.
See the area standouts planned below. Click link for details.
Please follow the guidelines for non-reaction & non-violince. noted in the image above. They want to provoke you and then post your reaction online to be used against all of us. Don't give them that chance.
If they become violent: leave. No good will come from staying. There will be another protest.

Rally for Reproductive Justice!
Area organizations will hold a rally, followed by speakers, June 29 from 6:30-7:30pm to mark the anniversary of the Dobbs decision. This 2022 Supreme Court ruling overturned Roe v. Wade and took away the constitutional right to abortion, putting millions of women’s health, freedom, and lives at risk.
The event will take place at the intersection of 109 and 27 in Medfield. Save the date and stay tuned here for details on how to join us in standing up for reproductive rights. The event is co-sponsored by the Democratic Town Committees of Bellingham, Dover, Franklin, Holliston, Medfield, Medway, Norfolk, Plainville, and Wrentham, and by Progressive Mass of Western Norfolk County.

No Kings Next
Open https://nokings.org/next for what you can do now to support the cause: write a letter to the paper about the injustice of the MAGA Regime. Or write about your towns NoKings event and how it stood for democracy, decency, a peaceful life, and justice. Or call your elected representatives in opposition to the Big Ugly Bill.
Upcoming No Kings Events
Plan Ahead for No Kings Day!
No Kings Day is fast approaching (6/14/25). The following towns have registered their demonstrations at nokings.org. Plan ahead to join one or more of these events. If you're up for a new challenge, consider getting a team together for a progressive demonstration. Start in Norfolk at 8:45 am, Norwood at 9 AM. Then Ashland or Mendon at 10 AM, hit up Milford or Millis at 11 AM, head to Holliston or Walpole at noon, then to Natick from 1pm - 1:30pm. On to the grand finale in Framingham at 1:30pm.
Bring signs and flags mounted to your sign or in your hand. A sea of flags stump the Trumpers. It makes clear who actually stands for this country's values.
- Ashland, 10-11:30am Montenegro Square
Statement from Senator Markey in support of NoKings 6/14:
In April, we gathered more than 50,000 voices on Boston Common, and millions more across our country, to tell Donald Trump and his band of billionaires HANDS OFF our democracy.
Wannabe King Donald’s formula of chaos and crisis is a daily reminder that the values we hold dear – liberty, opportunity, and access – are under relentless assault.
